Chiman Patel, CEO & CTO

With over 30 years of experience in the electronics industry, Chiman Patel is the founder, CEO, and CTO of WIN Enterprises. Patel holds two patents and is also a charter member of TiE-Boston, a nonprofit Massachusetts organization with a mission to foster and support entrepreneurship.

Before founding WIN Enterprises in 1991, Patel served as an independent consultant. Patel helped design one of the first cache-based personal computer motherboards for DataMedia Corporation. Patel also architectured the memory controller for the FDDI chipset for Digital Equipment Corporation during this time period. He was recruited by Modicon/AEG Schneider in 1981 as a principal engineer and while there was responsible for the architecture of an industry-standard industrial I/O Bus.

Prior to Modicon/AEG Schneider, Patel led an engineering team at Racal Milgo that developed the early network management system for the airline industry. He began his career as an engineer at Plessey, England where he designed computer memory systems.

Patel earned his BS in Physical Electronics from Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England.

Mark Goulet, VP of Manufacturing  

Mark Goulet joined WIN Enterprises in 1998 and is responsible for the management of all Manufacturing activity for the company. Prior to joining WIN, Goulet held several senior positions in the medical and telecommunications fields. Most recently, he was the Operations Manager for American Optical, Medical Division. Before this Goulet was with Cambridge Medical Instruments, and he also served as the Regional Sales Manager for Pioneer Medical Systems.

John Hill, Director of Marketing 

A seasoned high-tech marketer, John Hill has helped position many companies for success and industry leadership, including Progress Software (then Data Language), Lasertron (now Lasertron/Corning), Voicetek (now Aspect Communications) and Meetinghouse (now Cisco Systems). John is a graduate of Purdue (BA) and Northeastern University (MBA).
